In "The Printing and the Printers of the Book of Common Prayer, 1549-1561," Peter Blayney shows that roughly 20% of the sheets in this edition are from the first edition printed by Richard Grafton (¶⁴ ¶a-¶e⁶ ¶f⁸). The remaining sheets were reprinted by Edward Whitchurch and Nicholas Hill. Blayney therefore describes this, STC 16267, as the second edition of The Book of Common Prayer.
